I stayed at the Sunset Inn the last week of February 2009. The hotel was very nice, clean and quiet....very relaxing. The hotel is in a great location....everything is walking distance. Federico was very helpful and provided us with a list of excursions to go on and told us which restaurants were good. The sunsets in Playa Langosta are amazing as well :) I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone!

We stayed at the this charming hotel for the weekend on one of the Apartments of the first floor and it was great! Very comfortable for us travelling with children, huge kitchen and living room so we felt at home. Langosta beach is very close and we love that beach! Great for swimming, walking and taking great pictures! There's a little supermarket just 3 doors from the Inn so we can have everything we needed within minutes. Beautiful beach, quiet, relax and safe place! I would definitely come back with my family again!

This is one of my favorites places --if not my favorite--to stay in Costa Rica, rooms are comfortable, location is perfect, pool, & gardens are always well maintained. The place gives you a sense of privacy and ownership impossible to find anywhere else. Surf is just a cople of steps away, Negra, Avellanas, Grande and other spots are just a short drive away.
Store is almost next door and for real tico food ask Federico for directions to the sodita. Federico & Lola are great hosts, always taking care of evry little detail and making sure you are having a great time.

This is by far the best place that I have stayed in Costa Rica. You literally so close to one of the best beach breaks in the area. Federico also has bikes to cruise to town with and a really cool pool. Definitely stay here - Federico can give you some good surf tips and areas to go as well. You can also meet his really cool dog, Lola.
